Science Project

You have had a few days to work on your Newton's Scooter's Project.  What are you finding to be the hardest part of the project?   What have you learned about Newton's Laws and specifically about the 3rd Law.  Remember the 3rd Law is what this project is about.  Please discuss your thoughts and ideas.  Also, don't forget that the design is due no later than Friday, Oct 22.

    I have found that the most difficult part of this project is making the scooter go by pulling back and lettin go. Also it is hard not to use any battery or electricity on the vechicle to help it go.

    I kind of have to agree with Sara. I think it will be a challenge to design a car like that.However, I also think it would be fun to see how some of them turn out.

    I think the hardest part is building the car its all new to me, but in the end its gonna be something really interesting!

    The most difficult thing about the project is getting the car to not fall apart when it takes off. Also the Newton Law's all have something to do with force. The third law is opposite in direction.

    The most diificult thing on this project for me is making sure that my vehicle stays in a straight line.

    The most difficult thing for me is that how to make my vehicle. How i am going to pull it back and then let go so that its going fast and staying stright.

    I think the hardest part is the building the car and bringing it back and letting it go.

    I agree with Heidi that it is hard to not let it fall apart. I also agree with Robin it will be hard to keep it in a straight line.

    I think the hardest part was to find out which material would be best to make it run.Also it's hard to keep it in a straight line like Robin said.

    I think the hardest part in the project is getting time to actually get the project done. Most people just forget about it.

    The hardest thing about the project is making shure the cars works right and for the car to go forward when it ment to go forward.

    I think that the most difficult part of our project is having to keep it in a straight line and not bumping into any cars while we are making our race. I feel that even though we are not useing a battery it is quite simple building and making it go. you just have to think outside the box.

    I think the hardest part of this project will be designing and constructing the vehicle, but the hardest part will be actually making the vehicle go one point five meters. I agree with Heidi because actually making the vehicle go without all the pieces falling apart will be very challenging.

    I think the hardest ting will be hard is to make the vehicle go by pulling bak only.I agree with Heidi and Robin it will be hard to make it go in a straight line without falling apart.

    I agree with what everyone is saying about the challenges. That is why I have given you plenty of time to design, test, and rebuild if necessary. I am excited to see your vehicles and actually get to see them in action. Keep up the great work and let me know if you are running into any problems.
