Imagine what would happen if you and a friend were standing on roller skates and you gave your friend a forward push. What would happen to you? Would you stand still or would you travel backward?
I think that you would move backwards because if u are on roller skates and you push off of something. Which ever way you push off of you are going to go the opposite way.
You will travel backwards ,because when you push your friend, they will go forward and the force of you pushing him willthen come back to yourself and since you are on roller skates, you will also move.
You will go backwards because, like sara said which ever way you push off you go the opposite way. So you used force to push you friend and push you backward.
